Old commitment

Hi beautiful friends,

The text that follows was written one year ago, literally one year ago and it’s been in my drafts since then. I find it absolutely unbelievable to see how many have changed in a year and still some things stay the same.

I haven’t written in a long time, but who knows… one day, baby……

So, here it goes.

‘Committing to writing each and everyday is hard work, trust me. I am the proof that if you skip one day, you’ll probably skip the entire week, the weeks following and the whole month….

Until that one day, when the sun shines a little brighter, the exams are over, the coffee you are sipping tastes better and you just start writing. Just kidding, it’s cold and raining, my exam is in two days and I didn’t have coffee as we don’t have a coffee machine… yet.

As you have probably guessed exams got me all stressed and worried and all my free time was spent well…. on doing nothing.

Currently in my pediatric surgery rotation, which I absolutely loved and adored and got all wired up about it. I can honestly see myself doing this.

I have no idea what to write about, so I’ll ask for your help.

Fashion, food, gym, medschool, Romania, study tips? What do you want to know?! I am obviously no expert in any of these and I am still trying to figure my s*** out, but would love to chat and see where this gets us.

Aaaand, pinky promise: from today will start rewriting, daily, as first promised.

By the way, have I told you how much I love spring and fresh flowers in my home? I would have said that “few things get me excited, and this is one of them”. Actually, no, many things get me excited- too many, but, yes, this is one of them.’

Let’s see what the May of 2020 brings.

OUR JOURNEY BEGINS

Hi beautiful friends,

Thank you for joining me.

This is my first time writing anything, especially online, besides my lame posts on facebook when I was 13. I really hope I’ll do a better job now :).

Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am Romanian, living in Bucharest, am 22 years old and I am in Med School, planning to become an Ob/Gyn soon enough. While many of you might have no idea where Romania is even located, I’ll only tell you now that it’s a beautiful country, in Europe, with many beautiful cities and people. I’ll leave this for later.

My plan is to write about med school, my country, myself and take you pretty much in every journey I have, while trying to find my path through life. Hopefully, we’ll only have “no bad days” together.

This is it, for now. Everything else, you’ll find out later.

The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.
